Dr. Abheha Satkunaratnam is a graduate of the University of Ottawa and completed his postgraduate residency training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Toronto. He completed a surgical
fellowship in minimally invasive and reconstructive pelvic floor gynaecologic surgery at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Abheha is the Chief of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Co Medical Director of the Maternal and Newborn Program at North York General Hospital, one of the largest obstetrical and women’s health providers in the greater Toronto area.
Dr. Abheha has clinical and leadership strengths in minimally invasive gynaecology surgery and ambulatory medicine having successfully developed out patient surgical programs at Women’s College Hospital, Private Fertility Centres, and now at North York General Hospital. He is well known educator with acknowledgements from the American College of Obstetricians ad Gynaecologists and The University of Toronto.
